Choosing A File

By default, GenSmarts opens the last file you used with it. There's a CANCEL button on the progress dialog that appears as GenSmart does the analysis. You can press that to stop the current file from being loaded, or wait until it finishes. Using the FILE menu option in the upper left hand corner of GenSmarts itself (look for the word FILE and click on it), you'll find several different options that allow you to locate and open different files.

If you find this default behavior (open the last file used) doesn't fit the way you use GenSmarts, you'll find options to change it via TOOLS...SETTINGS...FILES tab.
